Restoring Deleted Tasks and Boards

Weasel in a Hard Hat Holding Building Plans

The WeaselWorks Trash keeps deleted tasks, buckets and Boards for 30 days. Restore them and they come back with everything they held: subtasks, checklists, comments and history.

In short: open Trash at the bottom of the sidebar, find the item and click Restore. Just deleted it? Press Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on a Mac).

Where to Find the WeaselWorks Trash

  • Group Trash holds what was deleted from Group Boards. Every member can restore from it.
  • Personal Trash holds what you deleted from your own Personal Boards.

Trash

  • Deleted tasks, buckets and Boards
  • Kept for 30 days
  • Restore with everything they held
  • Leads can empty Group Trash

Archive

  • Finished tasks you want to keep
  • Kept until you remove them
  • Grouped by year
  • Reopen to send a task back

Undo and Redo

WeaselWorks remembers your last 10 changes in each browser tab. Press Ctrl+Z to undo and Ctrl+Shift+Z to redo. Messages after Mark Complete, Archive and Delete also have an Undo button.

Watch out: items left in Trash for more than 30 days are removed for good, and emptying the Trash can't be undone. Back up your site regularly, and use Import / Export to keep a copy of important Workspaces. WordPress explains how to back up your site.
